An ERP project can go wrong before the first configuration begins. This happens when the technical solution is designed without understanding how the company actually manufactures, buys, stores and manages its finances.
At TechOne, process analysis therefore comes before system design. We are looking for someone who can keep the relationships across the business in view and create a shared foundation for the client, ERP consultants and developers.
02 // The role
What you will do
- Lead workshops with management and users and map processes from the initial request or order through production, dispatch, invoicing and evaluation.
- Find the causes of problems, waiting and manual work. Design the future state, roles, responsibilities and control points together with the client.
- Turn findings into process maps and functional specifications that both users and the delivery team can understand.
- Define what the ERP standard can cover, what requires a process change and where a customization, integration or adjacent application is needed.
- Prepare the scope of data migration, mappings, controls and the description of data flows between systems.
- Stay involved during delivery and connect users, consultants and developers in key decisions, testing and acceptance.
03 // Profile
Who we are looking for
- You have completed a project where you mapped business operations, designed the future state and helped take the design into delivery.
- You understand at least one area in depth: production and capacity planning, logistics and warehousing, procurement, or finance and controlling.
- You can lead conversations across a company, distinguish causes from symptoms and identify the decisions the client needs to make.
- You can describe processes, roles, data, exceptions and controls so that a delivery team can work from the result.
- You can work with English documentation and lead a professional workshop or meeting in English.
Nice to have
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or with migrating and integrating Dynamics NAV, K2 ERP, Helios or a comparable ERP system.
- Experience with data migration and integrations involving EDI, e-commerce, production, warehouse or attendance systems.
- Knowledge of ordering, invoicing and sales processes beyond your main area.
04 // Collaboration
How the collaboration works
- Analysis continues into delivery. Your design is the basis for configuration, migration and development. You stay with the team for key decisions through testing and acceptance.
- Business areas in context. Your design connects production, logistics, finance, data and surrounding systems according to the client’s actual operations.
- Part-time collaboration. We confirm the scope and working model before the collaboration begins. Depending on the project, workshops and key meetings take place at the client, in the office or remotely.
