Context
Business Travel Linked to a Service Order
Pramos technicians completed travel orders on paper and handed them over for further processing after returning. The trip record was therefore created outside the ERP and entered the system only in a later step.
The goal was to let the technician record the trip directly on a phone and create the travel order against the relevant service order in ERP.
Application
A Simple Interface for the Phone
We designed and built the Travel Desk web application with user sign-in, outbound and return trip recording, and a weekly overview.
The application fills in orders and locations from the enterprise system, validates formats and time sequences, distinguishes completed and missing days, and allows a record to be added within the open period.
Integration
The Travel Order Is Created Directly in ERP
After sign-in, the application loads the employee, service orders, installation locations and existing travel orders through the K2 API.
It writes a new trip to the same system, including the outbound and return stages. The weekly overview then works with the current saved records, so the web interface and ERP use the same data.
Delivery
The Outbound and Return Journey
We deployed the solution in the Pramos environment, connected it to the production ERP and verified the complete flow from sign-in and order selection to creating and retrieving a travel order.
The solution handles new locations, assigns each trip to a specific employee, and records both the outbound journey and the return home.
